1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your username, email address, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash). Optionally, you may link your GitHub account for authentication or profile features.

User Content: We store the textures, models, and pack data you upload and create through the Service. This content is stored on our servers and is accessible only to you unless you share it through the platform.

Usage Data: We may collect anonymized usage analytics to understand how the Service is used and improve functionality. This includes page views, error logs, and feature usage patterns.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: provide and maintain the Service; process your requests and generate packs; authenticate your account; communicate with you about service updates; and improve the Service based on usage patterns.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers managed by Morgan Wallace and third-party hosting providers. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Authentication tokens (JWTs) are stored in HTTP-only, Secure cookies with SameSite protection. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your data with: hosting providers necessary to operate the Service; GitHub, if you use GitHub authentication (subject to their own privacy policy); or when required by law.

5. Data Retention

Guest sessions are automatically cleaned up after 30 days of inactivity. Registered accounts are retained until you request deletion. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days. Generated pack files associated with your account are deleted along with your account data.

6. Cookies and Tracking

PackStudio uses HTTP-only cookies for session authentication. We may use local storage for non-sensitive preferences (e.g., banner dismissal state). We do not use third-party tracking pixels or analytics cookies beyond what is necessary for service operation.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access a copy of your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict processing of your data; and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

8. Children's Privacy

PackStudio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. The "Last Updated" date below indicates when this policy was last modified.
