About PackStudio
About PackStudio
PackStudio is a browser-based tool that automates the tedious parts of building Minecraft Java resource packs. It handles complex JSON file structures, pack-format compatibility, and dependency resolution so creators only need to provide textures and models. The result is a polished, export-ready pack you can drop straight into your world without fighting with missing entries or broken references. The tool targets Minecraft 26.2 (pack formats 73–88) and supports Forge, Fabric, and Fabric API environments out of the box. Every pack can be downloaded as a ready-to-use ZIP or uploaded as a base for further editing — whether you're prototyping a single custom item or building out an entire themed resource pack from scratch. The project is currently closed source.
About the Creator
PackStudio was created by Morgan Wallace as a way to lower the barrier for Minecraft pack creators. After years of manually editing JSON files for community projects, Morgan built PackStudio to automate the parts that should never be a chore.
